One of the necessary steps to be taken in the Evolution of the Islamic Movement, is the development of a truly independent Judiciary and Scholarly leadership. Without independence, the fish tors from the head first. The Assembley of Muslim Jurists of America is a step in that direction, but their recent decision to hold their convention in the corrupt, despotic, military base for Iraq, called Kuwait, brings this into question.
